Not only is Gill the easiest person to work with AND an incredible photographer, but she was even able to set my camera-shy mother in law at ease! It poured our entire wedding day but you'd never know it from the photos. If we had to do it all over again, it would be with Gillian!!

My Roots
I am the definition of an old soul born in the wrong generation -- an extrovert with an insatiable soft spot for anything old-school. I love the crackling of a vinyl record and the grain of a photo shot on Portra 400 film. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have way too much energy to sit still... ever.
What started as a part-time job working for a wedding florist waaay back in college eventually brought me into something that would set my heart ablaze! I had always loved photographing people, but when I became a wedding photographer, I learned quickly that taking good photos was 5% of the job. The other 95% was largely about building trust and making people feel safe and comfortable. People are sort of my thing, so this came naturally to me.
As a queer photographer, I discovered that working with queer folks really felt like home. I've met countless incredible and kind humans, and the privilege of celebrating, documenting, and holding space for queer folks is something I simply wouldn’t trade for anything.
What I do
I purely love the chaotic nature of wedding days and being a space of calmness for my couples. Bringing the zen to what is often one hell of a day, while documenting all the good stuff, is a true honor for me.
What to expect when we work together
I’m not a "single-phone-call-and-call-it-a-day" type of photographer (and really, who wants to be?). I want to truly get to know you and understand the moments of your wedding that are the most meaningful to you. I don't believe in being a stranger with my couples and I ensure a supportive, open line of communication at all times. After all, you are a human and friend before you are my client and you will always feel heard and listened to.
The bottom line is, having your wedding photographed is a vulnerable thing, and working with a photographer who you can trust with all the bits and pieces of your story allows for some real magic to happen. Leaning into the natural unfolding of your day instead of focusing on curated moments allows us to create an unfiltered retelling of your wedding day that feels like soul food every time you look back at your photos. My advice? Hire the photographer who has a sixth sense for those fleeting moments so you can save them forever.
